An innovative design by renowned architects Foster + Partners, together with an aggressive schedule, stringent deadlines and tough site logistics at one of the world’s busiest airports, were some of the reasons that Novum was selected for this project. Seventy ETFE air filled pillows create this striking, transparent cover that floats above the forecourt. A custom screen print pattern was used on the ETFE to accomplish shade during the day and a glowing effect through the use of LED lights at night.
