The luxury mall features 3 major skylights. Two of them are mirror image freeform systems whereas the third is of a conventional symmetric lens shape. Insulated glass is used throughout and held with flush glazed edge clamps. The freeform skylights span a longitudinal expansion joint and so discreet tension cables tie the necessary continuous ring beam to accommodate seismic movements.

Glass fins support point supported glass at both the entry vestibules and the surrounding retail zone to provide maximum transparency into the mall from the street. Revolving and swing doors are fully integrated. The glass fins are full height where the spans require it or cantilever from the ceiling on the smaller span retail zone preserving useable floor space.

In conjunction with the architect, an innovative ETFE soffit was developed to create a high gloss reflective surface, to be attractive day and night at the main mall entrance. The panel utilizes the SSM-System whereby pocketed cables provide intermediate support for the single skin white ETFE. The system is incredibly light compared to conventional methods.

Two large cantilevered undulating canopies hang from the edge wall of the mall podium. They each feature edge supported translucent glass above and below a supporting steel structure. The structure is of light weight tubular steel framing. The canopies are tapered in height and width over their length and provide shelter and direction to users.
